5 April

I am on a mini-holiday. I have checked out and I am indulging for the weekend. I am luxuriating in slow, peaceful, quiet Kenya. I am enjoying time. I am being decadent and I am pampering myself.

I am racking my brain for a topic of interest for today and I have come up dry. I always have too much to say. Today I have nothing to say.

Therefore, I will take this advice that I saw written on the back of a truck as I drove through the Rift Valley. Most trucks in Kenya have been hand-painted with thoughtful tips and advice. As an inveterate talker, this is advice that is difficult for me to follow successfully.

Here I go.
