PROOF: TIME DOES NOT EXIST IN KENYA

2 February

I read this: “In Kenya you need 37 doses of patience and 45 ounces of calmness.” I love it! A recipe for existence in Kenya. Let’s drink this down.

This is fun. I saw a poster for a Stand-Up Comedy event in Harambee Hall where I teach. I studied the poster.

WHEN? WHAT TIME? WHEN DOES THIS START?

. . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . .

A dose of Patience. An ounce of Calmness. It does not matter when this starts or begins. Truly. It is not important. Just come on over and have a good time.

  1. Hi Richard-
I’m enjoying your posts from Kenya! What I find interesting about this event/poster, aside from the lack of clear logistics, is the fact that the cost is lower if I buy my ticket in advance. Wonder how successful they are at selling pre-sale tickets. It’s like the airline pricing model, prices go up closer to the flight. And, being recognized as a “VIP” has a price. I’d love to know how the audience breaks down in terms of how many they have at each level of ticket price. If you can find out, I’d like to share in an arts ticket pricing group on Linked In.

    Enjoy your time!
